Inika Vinod

Inika is a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science. As an aspiring Physician Assistant, she works in an otolaryngology clinic and volunteers for Crisis Text Line. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops and weightlifting. She supports the Jersey Shore Breast Cancer Walk’s mission to continue to advocate for early detection and investment in crucial medical research. Favorite quote: “Don’t climb the mountain so the world can see you. Climb the mountain so you can see the world.”

Lakshmi Nair

Lakshmi Nair is a rising junior in Woodbridge Academy Magnet School. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, reading, writing, researching etc. She enjoys sports and volunteers at a nursing home and at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.

Breast cancer is an extremely relevant issue that more than 13% of women in this country deal with. Lakshmi leads an awareness discussion forum with her friends in school. As a STEM student and an aspiring medical professional, Lakshmi’s goal with this outreach program is to bring awareness to young individuals about the importance of early detection and to spread knowledge about preventative behaviors.

Atreyi Menon

Atreyi is a rising junior at Freehold Township High School. She enjoys playing tennis, swimming, volunteering, traveling, and talking to new people in her free time. As a board member of her high school’s Red Cross Club and the high school’s chapter of the Technology Student Association, she believes supporting the Jersey Shore Breast Cancer Walk promotes research and investment in medical advancement. Atreyi always has fun with her friends and family during the Breast Cancer Walk.

Avani Menon

Avani is a rising eighth grader at Manalapan Englishtown Middle School. She plays tennis and loves to crochet and swim. She enjoys spending time with her family. She has been an enthusiastic volunteer at the Jersey Shore Breast cancer walk since its inception and spreading awareness on this important health topic.
